Hello I just entered before I have to leave to the airport, it's been very nice to meet you, if you want here is the site I told you about where I type some stuff and make good money (I work from home): here it is
Rabbi Yisroel Belsky is giving a shiur on the fast of the eighth of Teves in KNH on the topic of... YICHUD! I wonder if it might have anything to do with.... Nah. Couldn't be. It must just be a coincidence.
Personally I was in Rabbi Tendler's home helping an extremely beautiful young woman relative to procure a GET. He was the posek for this young couple and was most sincere and totally dedicated to saving their marriage. This process was over a period of several months.Never once did he make an inappropriate comment or gesture. All of his words were measured as a yirai shamayim. Not only did he welcome the beggars who came for money, he would also make sandwiches and invite them into the kitchen to eat and drink. Nor did he ever ask me for a penny in all the years I know him, nor did he insinuate a contribution. In fact, although my wife and I have been contributors to many organizations, by happenstance we have never sent any contributions to the Rabbi. Nonetheless we were still treated with the greatest respect and kindness, never failing to return a call no matter what the question, no matter what the time. Personally, I am not naive to the ways of the world. I grew up in Borough Park. Unfortunately I have known of molesters and abusers, and even incest. It pains me to say this. I chose to be religious as a child and wanted to believe with all my heart that a religious Jew was above reproach. I never would have imagined the multitude of people that are past any decent human being's point of repulsion. However, to create a witch hunt and vilify a truly righteous individual is itself an obscenity as well. Furthermore, it minimizes the experiences of the real victims. I am religious in spite of having borne witness to the ugliness in our society and my experiences and my children's experiences in the yeshiva system. What kind of human being could it be who would perpetrate this witch hunt against a man who is the salt of the earth. This libel says more about the accusers than it does about Rabbi Tendler. If you can’t find compassion and empathy in your heart there is no ritual that will warm the ice cold water in your veins. Be a human being first and then be a Jew. It is the only way for a Kiddush Hashem to prevail against the tsunami of chilul that we have to endure."You can smell a good man when you see him." (Marcus Aurelius) This is the most succinct expression of the essence of Rabbi Mordechai Tendler. He is my family posek, having studied 13 years with his illustrious grandfather, R' Moshe Feinstein ZTL, and I wouldn't trade him for anything in the world. May there be many more such as him in Israel.May G-d continue to bless him and his family, vindicate him and bring shame and remorse to his accusers.Yisroel b'tach baHashem
